Our Story

It started with my mother's hands.

Years of gardening, cooking and letter-writing had left them stiff by evening. Every gadget I bought her sat in a drawer — too heavy, too complicated, instructions printed for ants. What she wanted was simple: things that feel good, work the first time, and don't need a manual.

So I started collecting them — testing what actually helps, sending back what doesn't. Nora Vilar is that collection. Nothing here is complicated, nothing here is flimsy, and everything here is something I'd happily hand to my own family.

1. We try it first. Every product is tested by us before it earns a place in the shop. If it frustrates us, you never see it.

2. Simple wins. Big buttons, large print, lightweight designs. If it needs an app or a manual to enjoy, it doesn't belong here.

3. A person answers. Questions, returns, or just choosing a gift — you'll always reach a human being, not a machine.

Shopping for a parent or grandparent?

You're in good company — many of our orders are gifts. Prices never appear in the parcel, our instructions are large-print, and if it's not quite right, returns are easy for 60 days. No awkward phone calls required.
